Too many scraps….
I have been doing lots of carpentry projects around the house lately, so my scrap pile has grown alarmingly. I thought I would make some scrap wood heads to reduce the pile. Unlike some of my other wood scrap sculptures, I didn’t make any sketches first. I just played with the scraps until a design appeared. I think that made them different from my other scrap designs.
A little book
A mini-comic is a home-made comic, printed, cut, folded, assembled and distributed by the author (and his/her friends). It is a do-it-yourself way of getting your work out. I love mini-comics, and decided that it was time to put out my first (but not last) publication.
I will need your help for this one, so get out your straight edge (ruler) and your hobby knife (or scissors), turn on your printer and let’s get going.

The trials of being with a cat, and the rewards, are told in this Mother’s Day card. It was drawn under the strict supervision of Our Cat, who is greatly appreciative of all the loving care Lisa gives him. I have to admit that much of that care is given while I sleep, deaf to his meows and stares…
