Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, starts tonight at sunset. After sundown on September 14th it will be the year 5776 by the Jewish calendar.
One Rosh Hashanah tradition is to eat sweet food, apple dipped in honey, to start the sweet new year.
Shanah Tovah ( a good and sweet new year) to all!
Our friend Scott graciously volunteered to cat sit for us recently. He’s not much of a cat person so I prepared this mini-comic guide book for him. It’s pretty universal, feel free to give it to your cat sitter…
Click on the third image to download the mini. Print it, get out your scissors or hobby knife and get started!
A Click on the Small Moments Mini-Comic image, third from the top, to download the mini-comic PDF.
When the PDF is downloaded, the image appears on your screen.
B Print the PDF1 in full color, making sure that the “Scale to Fit” option on your printer IS selected. Print in Landscape mode.
The PDF will print with white margins and a heavy black border or frame on all sides. You will cut off the margins and the thick border in C.
C Follow the easy assembly instructions in the bottom image. No stapling required!
If all goes well, you will end up with a little 2.5″ x 4″, eight page cartoon booklet!
You have made a mini! Print ’em, collect ’em, trade ’em. Be the envy of all as you hand out the much sought after Small Moments Small Books to your friends and colleagues.
Please use my “Contact Steve” form if you have any praise, questions or problems.
1 Printing a PDF: The exact software that opens your PDF depends on how your computer is set up. On our computer, I right click on the PDF and select Print from the pop-up menu.
My role model
My Dad’s not one for lectures. I learned his lessons by watching him. This recent birthday card (outside on top, inside below the line) tells that story, and how he continues to teach me.
94th birthday, wow! Happy Birthday Dad!
