We needed to replace a small table in our garden that had developed a noticeable sag. We had a 2″ thick pine slab, left over from a willow bench that had fallen apart. We thought we’d use it for the top of the new table. I made the base out of redwood scraps left over from our trellis.

Love the design and the recycling! I'm finding that I have so many treasures in my yard ready for a new life that I had somehow overlooked. For instance, we have two army artillery wooden crates that Michael has hung on to since his army days. It occurred to me this week that they would make great seating or plant stands in the yard with a little sprucing up. Thanks for more inspiration!
Love what you did with all that old wood…very nice.
